New York based The ONE Group has returned to its British roots to launch the first international outpost of the popular U.S. steakhouse, STK – located in London’s new ME Hotel.
The STK concept is renowned for offering guests a holistic evening experience; from early evening cocktails to dinner, through to late night drinks. Across the United States, STK restaurants are strategically located in vibrant neighbourhoods of cities including New York, Miami and Las Vegas which are often frequented by celebrity guests including David Beckham, Rihanna and James Franco. Nightly DJs create an energetic vibe throughout the restaurant, with exemplary service and high quality food completing the STK experience.
In the UK, Executive Chef Barry Vera leads the kitchen at STK where guests enjoy the finest hand-selected, hand-cut beef available, including selections of USDA Prime grade (in small, medium or large cuts). The cuts range from feather steak to fillet, accompanied with decadent toppings such as black truffle and lobster. Starters include the popular Lil’ BRGs (wagyu beef sliders) and Prawn Rice Krispies in a shellfish bisque.
Alternatives to the celebrated steaks comprise of eight-hour Roast Pork Shoulder with bourbon peaches, Seaweed Salted Roast Sea Bass with baby fennel, and Seared Tuna with aubergine caviar. STK is as famed for its sides as the steaks; try the Lobster Mac & Cheese, and Sweet Corn Fritters and spicy ketchup to accompany the main event.
